Good ‘Till It’s Gone

All right, here it goes.  My favorite food can come in three sizes: thin, medium, thick.  It’s main ingredient is all white chicken breast slaughtered into half-inch bites (bite size).  This creamy, gooey, slender sauce is made by only one of a kind, and can be on the dish over the food or in a side bowl.  It can come in two flavors: spicy and . . . not so spicy (I prefer the spicier one.  Can you guess yet??  It’s okay, take your time . . . . . . . . okay I’ll keep describing my favorite food.  The sizes can come in thin and straight, fat and straight, or simply curly (for the amateurs).  The sauce can be white as a whistle (although I prefer not), or I prefer the thick and creamy sauce (mm,m).  The white breast meat is the best in this if it is not burned, but pretty close to that.  I’d say this is delicious with garlic and butter and the juice of a jalapeno pepper and . . some Sierra Mist.

Sooo, can you guess what it is, I’m pretty sure you can.

Here is one more clue, it’s practicly the main dish at Olive Garden.

  3. After I got the image of chicken enchiladas out of my head, it was clearly chicken alfredo. Great word choice and interesting flow. Little features such as sound effects helps me really see your favorite food. Much more interesting than just telling me, “My favorite food is chicken alfredo.” Nice job!

  4. Since I don’t patronize the Olive Garden very often, I’m not really familiar with the fare that they present each day. Your descriptions are fairly decent…I can get the taste of something in my mouth when I read your posting. I really enjoyed the “white as a whistle” simile that you used.

If I were to guess, it would have to be some type of chicken and pasta dish and a creamy sauce…the name Alfred comes to mind…but I don’t think that is technically correct!
